There are approximately 300 Naturopathic Doctors (or NDs) in British Columbia. To practice in British Columbia naturopathic physicians must first pass North American examinations (NPLEX) and then pass oral and written examinations conducted by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC), the licensing body.
